ELEVATOR INSPECTIONS

The Florida Elevator Safety Act requires that only licensed vertical conveyances that have a current satisfactory inspection can renew the Certificate of Operation.  All elevators or other conveyances must be annually inspected by a certified elevator inspector or by a municipality or county under contract with the division pursuant to section 399.13, Florida Statutes.

Alliance Elevator Consultants, Inc. can provide State mandated elevator inspections in all municipalities not currently under contract with the division.   Simply fill out the attached form and we’ll take it from there.  We will contact your elevator company and schedule the inspection, provide you with a confirmation date, fill out all paperwork on your behalf, and follow up on any violations to ensure they are remedied in a timely manner.   For reference, the Bureau of Elevator Safety allows for 90 days to correct any and all violations listed on an inspection report.   If violations will take longer than 90 days to correct, we will assist with a petition for variance to the Bureau to allow for adequate time to correct said violations.

All inspections will be performed by a licensed, certified elevator inspector in good standing with the Bureau of Elevator Safety, and with accreditation from the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities (Qualified Elevator Inspector)
